A quiet handshake, in plain English.

By using Loopn, you're agreeing to the things below. We've kept it short on purpose. If anything's unclear, write to hello@loopnlabs.com and we'll explain.

Who we are

Loopn is a product of Loopnlabs, a company registered in India. When the terms say "we" or "us", that's who we mean. When they say "you", that's the person using Loopn.

What you're getting

A journaling app with memory and a weekly digest called the Sunday Loop. The product is in private invite while we get it right. We may add features, change features, or remove features as we learn. If we remove something you depended on, we'll tell you in advance.

Your account

• You must be 18 or older.
• One account per person. The product is built around you, and gets confused if it's split across two minds.
• Keep your sign-in safe. If something looks off, tell us.

What you write is yours

You own everything you write in Loopn. You're granting us a narrow licence to store it, run the model on it, and surface it back to you in the Sunday Loop and in-app summaries. That licence is bounded by what's described in the Privacy page. We do not train on your content. We do not share it. We do not sell it.

What we ask of you

• Don't use Loopn to write things that are illegal where you live or in India.
• Don't try to reverse-engineer, scrape, or break the service. If you find a security issue, write to hello@loopnlabs.com — we'll thank you.
• Don't impersonate someone else, or use Loopn to harass anyone.

If you do any of the above, we may suspend or end your access. We'll tell you why before we do, unless we genuinely can't.

Pricing

While Loopn is in private invite, it's free. When pricing arrives, we'll publish it here and email you before any charge ever happens. There will always be a substantive free tier. We don't believe a journal should be a paywalled experience.

The Sunday Loop and the model

Loopn uses an AI model to read patterns in what you've written and generate the Sunday Loop. The model is a tool — it can be wrong, miss things, or read meaning into a sentence you didn't intend. Treat the Loop as one quiet observation, not as a verdict on your life.

Loopn is not a therapist, doctor, or crisis service. If you're going through something serious, please reach out to a person trained for it. India's iCall (9152987821) and the Vandrevala Foundation (1860-2662-345) are good places to start.

Service availability

We do our best to keep Loopn running, but no service is up 100% of the time. We'll communicate planned downtime in advance, and incident updates as fast as we can. We don't promise an uptime SLA on the free tier.

Ending things

You can leave Loopn at any time, and your data will be deleted as described in the Privacy page. We may end an account if these terms are seriously broken, or if we wind the product down. If we wind down, we'll give you 90 days to export your journal first.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for anything related to Loopn is limited to the fees you've paid us in the 12 months before the issue. Until pricing exists, that's zero. We're being honest about this so you know what kind of company you're using.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. If we have a dispute we can't sort out by talking, the courts of Bengaluru, India will handle it.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change is material, we'll email every active user before it takes effect. Continuing to use Loopn after that means you're okay with the new terms.
